This is an event to promote the talent and craft of local artisans. It is sponsored by the
Green River Community Association along with The Friends of the Green River Library. At this
time, there is no charge for entry. As long as we can accommodate the event through donations,
we will continue to hold the event from year to year free of charge to those who participate and
those who come to enjoy the fellowship.
This year it will be held at Green’s Six Oaks who has graciously allowed us to use their
facilities free of charge. You will be required to furnish your own shelter such as a tent(this is at
your discretion) and you will be required to furnish your own tables for display.
You can set up an hour before the festival starts. We request you be there at least 30
minutes before. In the past, we have had between 200-400 in attendance. We will have
attractions such as storytelling, bluegrass music, and food. The festival will be advertised
thru\ough local venues and postcards that are mailed out to Green River residents.
Any questions can be directed to our website at greenriver-ca.com. Please feel free to
invite others. We would like this to grow and become better each year.
Please detach the upper portion and mail to Green River Community Association at PO
BOX 66 Tuxedo, NC 28784. We will contact you upon receiving this request. Space is limited so
please get your request in quickly.
